Final Product

This project consist of 2x4, 1x4, 1/2” ply wood, and 1/4” berch Luan.

Dado joints are used to insert a shelf and make the unit more sturdy. The Joints are 1/2” deep.

To insure a secure fit wood glue was used along with 1 1 1/2 inch staples to fasten this project together.

At finish this unit comes in at a height of 3’ 5”. This unit features more than what the eye can see

Two panels create the sides of the unit. The back piece fits securely in between the two side panels.

Featured almost seamlessly are two hidden drawers. The drawers sliders are self closing so they require more effort to open making the 1x4 face appear to be nothing more than a trim piece. Under the drawers is a sheet of luan making the drawers hidden from all views.

This Cabinet was built to help discreetly support the weight of the floor above and it is a much more appealing look than using plain post as support.

Marry Poppins 2019 Chipola College

This set piece was two story and is actually two set pieces (not pictured) that locked together creating the Banks home. This set was placed on casters giving us the ability to separate the two pieces and move about the set freely.

Trucks wooden platforms and sturdy trash cans were used to give height to the equipment used to help light the set and provide front light on the set.

LED Baby Cubes were used to add more color to the set.

ETC Light Board was used to run lighting equipment

The set used for the filming of the Chipola Show Choir performance that was part of the Chipola Christmas Film was a local house and land.

The set up began at 12pm and recording went until 2am
